Aberdeen 0 – Man Utd 2 (Friendly)

In a friendly match organised by Manchester United in preparation for their defence of the Premiership and Champions League crowns, they faced Scottish opposition in the form of Aberdeen, which ranked 4th in the Scottish Premier League 2007/08. The line-up fielded by Sir Alex was:

  • Vidic <-> 46′ O’Shea
  • Silvestre
  • Fletcher
  • Carrick

  • Rooney <-> 73′ Hewson
  • Giggs <-> 61′ Campbell
