Adam’s Plans Changes For Trip To Carlisle

Albion boss Micky Adams is expected to rotate his squad for the long trip to Brunton Park as four loan players return to bolster the squad.

Bradley Johnson, who has scored three times in his two appearances since joining on loan from Leeds, is expected to slot straight back in to the centre of midfield where he could partner David Livermore, who impressed in the midweek victory against Swindon.

Elsewhere Albion’s leading goal scorer Glenn Murray is hoping to shake off the thigh injury that has kept him on the sidelines for the last two games and partner returning skipper Nicky Forster.

Brighton will be hoping to extend their good form in the league after the demolition of promotion chasing Millwall at Withdean two weeks ago, where Murray was star of the show grabbing a brace for himself, as well as setting up Bradley Johnson and Dean Cox who completed the rout.

Carlisle’s caretaker boss Greg Abbott will be in control of his first league game and will be looking for a reaction after their disappointing showing in the FA cup last week, when held at home to Blue Square Premier Gray’s Athletic. They could be boosted by the return from injury of experienced striker Michael Bridges.
