New Algeria 2010 World Cup shirts

5 February 2010 by

African nation Algeria has revealed their new home and away shirts that they will wear during the 2010 World Cup to be hosted in South Africa next summer.

The qualification surprise package have only managed to reach the group stages of the World Cup on two previous occasions. After being drawn in the same qualifying group as Egypt, progress to a 3rd World Cup looked unlikely. Nevertheless, the Algerians stunned their rivals in a tightly fought group. The draw for the tournament saw the Africans pitted against USA, Slovenia and England. They will hope to progress to the knock out stages for the first time in their history.

Lovely shirts… best of luck to the desert foxes. They might well go far in this competition.
