Described as one of the hottest young talents in the game, Victor Moses has attracted the attention of Football followers across the world, with big named clubs lining up for his signature in the january transfer window, but the question is - will he live up to expectations?
The 19 year-old burst onto the scene in 2007, when he was snapped up as a trainee by Crystal Palace, after impressing in both the England U16 and U17 squads. He then went on to represent England at U19 level, where he notched up two goals at …

After the 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge five weeks ago the Premier League title looked beyond Arsenal but suddenly all that has changed.
With just nine matches to go The Gunners suddenly find themselves in a great position after putting together a run of four straight Premier League wins to leave them just two points off the lead and with an easier looking run in. In fact some bookmakers are now making Wenger’s men favourites to land their first title in six years and who would have thought that after the defeat …

Wednesday’s blog returns as today I will be profiling Bolton Wanderer’s striker Kevin Davies.
Kevin Davies is an English striker currently with Premier League side Bolton Wanderers.
Davies first started his career back in 1993, when he was on the books at Chesterfield, where he spent the first four years of his career at totalling 29 goals in 148 appearances.
Davies had a brief spell at Southampton before transferring to Blackburn Rovers for a fee of £7.5 million.  However, Davies’ time at the club wasn’t the best as he scored just two goals …

With Landon Dononvan’s loan period about to expire, Donoavn will be leaving both a squad and a league that has helped his form to prosper well beyond what was imagined.  The LA Galaxy standout has made the most out of his time at Goodison Park.  A past loan with Bayern Munich last year saw Landon Donovan leave as soon as possible with his tail between his legs.  This is the first time that Donovan has excelled in a top flight league.  He has performed well on the pitch against …

It’s back to another week of Premier League player profiles; this is mine and fellow blogger 5stars, 29th player profile. Today I will be featuring Arsenal and France international William Gallas. Please comment below as feedback will help both of us in the distant future…

The tabloids in recent weeks have been awash with stories circling John Terry’s affair and Ashley Cole’s separation and there now seems to be a thinner line between celebrity and footballer. Once a footballer progresses in the world of football, he expects to be treated as a celebrity and this shouldn’t be the case. After the recent Bridge/Terry scandal huge disruption has been caused in the England squad resulting in Wayne Bridge effectively retiring from the national squad and no doubt rifts in the team will rear their ugly heads …

With the World Cup approaching, I have decided to name my England squad and starting eleven for the World Cup. There will be many shock inclusions and will include players doubtful for the finals.
Goalkeepers
Possibly the weakest area in the team with in my view little options and what I consider weak compared to some of the other teams.
JOE HART is my first choice at the minute as I think he is currently the best goalkeeper in the Premier League due to his outstanding form for Birmingham City.
BEN FOSTER would be my …

The outsiders. Up against the current league champions, dressed in green and gold. A chance for them to prove their worth on the Wembley stage after running out of steam in the league the season before. Two football matches are never the same but, as the stage gets set for this year’s Carling Cup Final, there are remarkable similarities with that of the Coca Cola Cup Final of 1994.

27th March 1994, Ron Atkinson got one over his old employer by leading his Aston Villa side to a 3-1 victory over …

‘IN ANDY we trust, in Andy we trust’. These are the words of the Brentford faithful that echo around Griffin Park every home match. Rookie manager Andy Scott has turned a struggling League 2 side into a team that’s sneaking towards the Championship over the course of just two years. On a shoe-string budget, the former Bees player has earned a valuable reputation as one of the best managers outside of the Premier League.

FAN FAVOURITE: Andy Scott was a popular figure at Griffin Park during his playing days, winning the …
