Czech Captain Wary of Threat

10 June 2008 by

Czech Republic captain Tomas Ujfalusi believes his side will have to be on top form if they are to get anything from their Group A encounter with Euro 2004 finalists Portugal tomorrow evening (11/6/08).

Both Portugal and Czech Republic won their opening group games, but Czech captain Ujfalusi is all to aware that his side could be on the receiving end of a Portugal thrashing, and is especially aware of the threat posed by a certain Mr. Ronaldo and co.

“We are well aware that their attackers are very strong, and not just one or two,” said the Atletico Madrid ace.

“They have many fast and dangerous players and we’ll have to be very careful and attentive. Our defence will have to be impeccable.”
