Diouf responds to sewer rat comparison

Blackburn forward El Hadji Diouf has responded to the comments made my Neil Warnock where the QPR manager compared Diouf to a ‘sewer rat.’ It’s by all means not a desired comparison for anyone and it was inevitable that the ever controversial Diouf would hit back at the allegations.

Warnock had accused Diouf of abusing Jamie Mackie whiles he was being stretchered off after a horrendous double leg fracture in the FA cup:

“For many years I have thought he (Diouf) was the gutter type – I was going to call him a sewer rat but that might be insulting to sewer rats.”

Today Diouf has responded to the criticism and stated that…

“When the lad broke his leg, I never said anything back to him.”

After pondering on the comments that Neil Warnock earlier made, Diouf made it clear that hes not bothered by what the Championship manager has said and argues that his past reputation is’nt anything to go by:

“I am not disappointed with what Warnock said – who is Warnock? He is nothing to me. “He is not Alex Ferguson, he is not Arsene Wenger, he is not Sam Allardyce or an important manager.”

Diouf’s reputation has in the past been justifiably a poor one and indeed he does have a record of performing disgusting behaviour, more famously for a saga in which he has spat at players and fans on more than one occasion.

The attention will now turn back to Warnock who’s main concern is with his QPR sides title ambition. They currently are top of the Championship and Warnock will hope that the injury to prolific Jamie Mackie wont have a noticeable impact upon his sides following performances.

So Diouff is calling our Jamie a liar now is he? Get the two players together AND BOTH MANAGERS and thrash it out once and for all. Diouff would deny it wouldnt he cos he knows his stay in England would be over for good. GOOD RIDDANCE TOO.

    Scum, pure and simple.
But where is the FA in all of this? Their competition which is broadcasted to the whole world and they don’t step in when a sewer rat makes comments like that!
As much as I dislike Warnock (palace fan you see) I agree with his comments fully
