Holland moved into the quarter finals of Euro 2008 as group winners after a wonderful attacking display against France.
Following on from their victory over World Cup winners Italy, it took the Dutch only 10 minutes to take the lead when Dirk Kuyt headed home unmarked from a corner.
Although the French looked very strong going forward early in the second half it was Holland who hit the second when Van Persie, on as a substitute volleyed home after some impressive counter attacking on the left.
Henry pulled a goal back with a neat flick volley on 71 minutes but barely a minute later he was on the floor, head in hands as second substiture Arjen Robben rifled home past Coupet in the French goal.
With the French going all out attack in the final stages, the Dutch capitalised again and one of the players of the tournament Wesley Sneijder shot past Coupet into the top left hand corner of the goal.
The Dutch win Group C with a game to spare. A defeat to Romania would early departures for World Cup finalists France and Italy.
