Eddie Howe is looking to freshen up the squad for next year, as he aims to get into League one in his first full season in charge.
He admitted he needed fresh faces to go into next season to really challenge, the one of four spots into League 1.
Howe was hoping to hold talks with the club’s out-of-contract players in a bid to secure their services, having already offered fresh terms to Warren Cummings, Ryan Garry, Jeff Goulding, Joe Partington, Josh McQuoid and Ryan Pryce.
The Cherries will be looking for add a few extra players to the squad, although Bournemouth have been hit with a transfer embargo.
But this has not stopped the young manager from targeting new talent and his tireless search has yielded some success, with Barry Corr set to link-up with Cherries for pre-season.
The 6ft 3ins frontman, who scored twice for Swindon at Dean Court in December 2007, is a free agent.
Bournemouth finished strong last season finishing outside the relegation zone, after having 19 points deducted from the club at the start of the season.
The south coast side will be looking to establish that form into the new season, as they have the same squad from last year except for the two loanees. These players are, Rhoys Wiggins from Crystal Palace and Joel Ward from neighbours Portsmouth.
With the administration and a new owner for the club not found yet, wage and transfers plus Howe’s future looks in doubt when the new owners come in.
