Liverpool’s Jamie Carragher “calls it a day”!

10 February 2013 by

Jamie Carragher has announced his retirement at the end of his season ending his glittering career. The Englishman who made his debut in 1997 for England and someone who has given all his Heart with sheer Commitment and responsibility.A man who gives 100% on the pitch every time he goes out to represent Liverpool and he respects and makes the crest on his shirt proud for the past 16 years.

He was a part of the unbelievable Champions League Final winning squad in which they miraculously won the match against AC milan. He has been under-Rated in the recent years but no doubt he was and still is one of the key layers in the Liverpool Squad. He had a career full of Emotion and excitement, Steve McMahon also believes that Jamie Carragher has made the right call by calling it a day and he believes for recent years he has just been a “Squad Player”.He had many moments to remember at his time at Liverpool, but his top five moments included the The Champions League Final of 2005,The FA youth cup of 96,The UEFA super cup of 2005,The full debut vs AstonVilla where he score and last but not least the Carling cup final vs of 2012.

He was a truly sensational player who made your Jaw drop with his creativity,he lost his touch in recent years but his contribution to the Crest in the Front will make Football fans around the Globe remeber the name on the back.
