Well,it’s been hell of a weekend with loads of Drama and Excitement.Some wonder Goals that we may not see again,this weekend was exciting and entertaining and weekend to remember for all Football fans around the Globe.
QPR continued their poor form when they clashed against a Norwich side who were also not at their best.It was goal less draw and was by far did not live up to the standard which was set by other sides in this weekend.
Arsenal who did not spend much in this January transfer window clashed with a in form stoke City.It was a match to watch,it was a high scoring match as it only had one goal in it which came form Lukas Podolski,but this gave the match thrill and excitement as both sides looked to surpass each other,it was a game of of Quality and Class.
Westham over came the on fire Swansea which was also not a High scoring event as it also had one goal in it scored by an unlikely scorer who was Andy Carroll.Previous Liverpool flop now looks to start a new at WestHam and bring back the Class he once had.
Aston Villa vs Everton was one of the best matches of the weekend because the players had fight in their eyes which they showed on the field they wanted to win the game and both of the teams equalled each other in the game which lead to draw in this fantastic fixture. Christian Benteke opened the scoring on the 2nd minute followed by a Victor Anichebe goal on the 21st minute,but just 2 minutes later Gabriel Agbonlahor equalised making good use of his head and then Benteke extended their lead,two late goals from the highly rated midfielder Marouane Fellaini saved Everton from a loss in this exciting fixture.
Reading got the better of Sunderland in a 2-1 win and Newcastle got the better of a struggling Chelsea side when Jonas Gutierrez opened the scoring with his head.Then a Frank Lampard special saw Chelsea Level with Newcastle and then a Juan Mata finish assisted by Torres saw Chelsea lead. Two late Sissoko goals then got the better of Chelsea and saw them lose to a changed Newcastle side.
Wigan and Southhampton drew in their fixture.Manchester United got the better of Fulham by a Wayne Rooney stunner.Tottenham won at The Hawthorns against West Brom when Gareth Bale continued his prolific goal scoring form.
Manchester City vs Liverpool was the match of the week when both of the teams were in good form and also when Liverpool had both of their strikers in very good form.The goal scoring charts were opened when superb play by Manchester City saw Edin Dzeko score in the 21 st minute, But just a few minutes later Daniel Sturridge scored a wonderful goal and no celebrations followed by a Steven Gerrard special when he turned in what was to be a sensational volley. Then just a few minutes after Sergio Aguero made the best out of Pepe Reina’s “Stupid” mistake when a he scored from an impossible angle and showed his class as a striker.That wrapped up our entertaining weekend which showed the Class and unpredictability of the Premier League.
