It seems Real Madrid have not yet lost hope about luring Ronaldo to the Santiago Bernabeu. Fuelled by leading Spanish newspaper Marca, which is reporting ‘exclusively’ false news, the Madrid club is still in pursuit of the magnificent winger, by trying to unsettle him. After David Gill and Ferguson said that Ronaldo is NOT for sale, the Real Madrid chiefs are reportedly trying to negotiate with the Glazer family, the Manchester United owners. This was reported by News of the World.
However, a spokesman for the Glazer family said:
“As Sir Alex and David Gill have already said, Ronaldo is not for sale.”
Newspaper Marca claims that Real Madrid have prepared an Audi car for Ronaldo, with the notice (on the dashboard) ‘Deliver to Cristiano Ronaldo’ in the hope of capturing the player’s signature. The Glazers and the club should stand firm on this decision, and if there’s the need, reporting Real Madrid to UEFA and FIFA.
