Who will replace Holt at Norwich? The Canaries should cock a hoop.

Now, any Carrow Road Canary that you ask about Grant Holt would go on for hours about how good he is and they are totally and utterly right to.
Holt has been Norwich City’s top scorer and player of the year three season in a row and until a recent injury had been giving the top defences in the country a hard graft; he’s the best Norwich City have to offer.
But when Holt does eventually hang up his boots, who should be the signing to get in now and eventually replace him with as the fan’s favourite?
The very public reports are that Chris Houghton has been looking at Gary Hooper of Celtic. In my opinion, there’s no better player to partner Holt and eventually success him for the Canary Road crown.
Having seen Gary Hooper play his 19 game stint at Hereford United (scoring 11 goals), before being signed for Scunthorpe and then onto Celtic, it is easy to see why he would be a great addition to Chris Houghton’s men and straight away become a hit for the Canaries.
Hooper’s strong, he holds the ball up well, a smooth passer of the ball and has no problem finding the net as well as setting up and linking with other players to score too. He is basically Grant Holt, in nearly every way and every Norwich City fan would enjoy every minute he would be on the pitch for them. So if Norwich are to put a bid on Celtic’s table in January, my only advice is get the deal done quick.
Hooper would be a fantastic capture for Houghton. If Hooper does go to Norwich City, those fans will have another great Canary to follow a long line of class front men and another exquisite player to chirp about till the Cows come home.
