European nation Serbia has revealed their home and away shirt design that Nike will produce in time for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The team surprisingly qualified with ease for the upcoming global tournament in a group that contained 1998 champions France. Even though they only picked up 1 point against the French in two meetings, other results saw the Serbians top the group fairly comfortably. They have been drawn in a fairly difficult World Cup group with Germany, Australia and Ghana the opposition.
The new Serbia home shirt design is predominately red with blue patches on the edges of the sleeves. A white horizontal stripe runs across the chest whilst a vertical white stripe overlaps it down the left side of the shirt. The collar is a red V neck and the outline of the national badge is situated inside the two stripes on the top left.
The new Serbia away shirt design is predominately white with red patches on the edges of the sleeves. There are little other coloured areas on the shirt with only the brown outline of the national badge providing any alternative to the white.
