WOLVES AND BRENTFORD DOMINATE THE PFA LEAGUE ONE TEAM OF THE YEAR!
League One Champions Wolves and Runners Up Brentford dominated the PFA League One Team of the Year at the annual PFA Awards tonight with seven of the team coming from the already promoted clubs.
Wolves led the way with five players selected as Carl Ikeme, Sam Ricketts, Danny Batth, Bakary Sako and Kevin McDonald whilst Brentford’s former Everton duo Adam Forshaw and Jake Bidwell were also named.
Peterborough United’s top goalscorer Britt Assombalonga led the strike force along with Coventry City’s …

Thank god this season is almost over, a season of nearly successes for the skyblues, just another rubbish season for us fans, all the troubles and changes certainly haven’t helped, hopefully we can sort everything out over the summer and go for promotion next year.
In a game where nothing mattered to Coventry, everything mattered to the away side Leyton Orient who still dreamt of a slim chance of getting into the play offs, despite the win today it wasn’t enough due to Swindon Town winning.
Teams:
Coventry City:  Joe Murphy, Cyrus Christie, …

Yes, It is a long and painful time being a supporter of Coventry City. Broken promises, transfer embargo’s and bank accounts frozen, you can only fell sorry for us! We have had 5 different men pick the team this year, in the names of; Thorn, Shaw, Robins, Carsley and now big Elvis.
Now we’ve been docked 10 points for going in to administration! Is this good or bad? In many ways this is a good sign for the sky blues, as now they now  know which league they will be playing in and now …

Well least we can say we watched a better performance than we got Easter Monday against Walsall! Wasn’t expecting any considering how good Brentford are so I’m happy with a point, overall a draw is a fair result I reckon. Just want this season over now and hopefully we can sort all the off field rubbish out during the summer. Steven Pressley made 4 changes to the embarrassing display we all witness at the Banks stadium. Steven Jennings, Richard Wood, Callum Wilson and on his debut academy player Ryan Haynes …

Well that was absolutely diabolical, worst performance of the season. Just nothing was going for us, such a drab match and effort by the players. Just very confused how we can play with the same team from Friday who played well to being battered today, very puzzled. Steven Pressley kept the same side that grafted out that 1-0 win over league leaders Doncaster Rovers.
Teams
Coventry City: Joe Murphy (GK), Cyrus Christie, William Edjenguele, Aaron Martin, Jordan Stewart, James Bailey, Adam Barton (Steven Jennings 65), John Fleck, Carl Baker (c), Franck Moussa …

Fantastic win! After us losing 10 points and our play off dream completely ripped apart yesterday, all the court rubbish and with the club officially in administration now, I was just glad us fans could have a bit of happiness supporting Coventry City, great win. First half was domination, second was complete graft I’m not going to lie, don’t know how Doncaster being top and having the best away record didn’t score!  Steven Pressley made 3 changes with Adam Barton, Callum Ball and Carl Baker coming in for Steven Jennings, …

YES WE’VE WON AT HOME GET THE CHAMPAGNE OUT!!! On my birthday to! Happy 17th to me! It wasn’t even a good performance, boring first half, second was much better but neither side were amazing. One word for the win, Graft! Just happy we got the win, our home voodoo of not winning since January has changed, good day and 3 more points. Been a rubbish week, with us being taken to court and administration likely by Friday so the play off push will be over with the loss of …

Firstly I just want to welcome new boss Steven Pressley to the club! Well least we didn’t lose at home for once! Happy with the point considering we was 2-0 down, great comeback. Gutted we didn’t get the win we really needed though, play offs are slipping away. With most games going the wrong way for us we really needed to win.
Teams:
Coventry City:  Joe Murphy, Carl Dickinson, William Edjenguele, Aaron Martin, Cyrus Christie, Carl Baker (c), Steven Jennings, Franck Moussa (Callum Wilson 71), Gary McSheffrey (John Fleck 71), James Bailey, …

I officially hate the Ricoh Arena now, absolute woeful at home and we aren’t going to improve, home form is shocking and I can see Colchester and Hartlepool to beat us in the next few weeks, rubbish at home. How can we expect to win a game when we sit so deep. Credit to Swindon, deserved the win and battered us throughout, best team at the Ricoh this season, great support to. I don’t think we can get play offs now, the home form is dreadful. Oh and what about …

Feels very weird writing this blog considering we played them 3 days ago. I’m glad to see the back of Crewe, sick of seeing the same kind of game every time. Let’s just say we won’t be getting play offs with our home form. Absolute rubbish. When we need to win we bottle it, sick to death of us not performing at home. Officials were a joke to, Luke Murphy should have been of for an elbow but you know we never get anything go our way. So annoyed with …
