I think it’s fair to say we just left it too late. It looked an uphill battle after the first leg with it being 3-0 but not scoring an early goal and both goals coming in stoppage time gave us too much to do. But I can’t fault the players effort, I thought they played okay and at least they didn’t give up, wasn’t a very good performance in my opinion. Fair play to Crewe they defended well considering that’s all they needed to do. I think we were the …

After a torrid 2 weeks it was good to get 3 points!! With defeats to Crewe in the JPT first leg and a defeat to play off rivals Yeovil which has left our season in tatters. Also this week with the departure of Mark Robins who has joined Huddersfield Town to then more off field drama happening, been such a crap and depressing time to support the skyblues. Thankfully we forgot about our troubles today and gained the 3 points we went up North for. Lee Carsley who has been …

I’m sick to death of all this real fan malarkey. All of this has come across since the JPT game on Tuesday with 30,000 and now it went down to 11,000 for yesterday’s game. I admit in my last blog I said there are a lot of part timers in Coventry, I stand by that, there the ones who were slating the team saying we were rubbish and quite frankly we weren’t! To them fans I say don’t bother coming back if all they are going to do is slate …

Well like Tuesday night I’ve gone home disappointed once again, in another game we really needed to win we have come off with the wrong result. I think it’s right to say our season has more or less ben shattered in the space of a week with a up battle to come back from 3-0 down in the second leg vs Crewe to now our play offs ambition in tatters. Going to be a big ask now but still a lot of games to go but I’m not confident myself.
Mark …

Well what can I say? The second half just made me feel physically sick, an absolute shambles. It’s not even we played rubbish, we were good just look at the stats. But stats don’t win you games, fair play to Crewe as they took the chances we didn’t. It’s going to be such a tough ask to come back from 3-0 down in the second leg.
On a night where the official attendance was 31,054 (1474 away) which came to be a JPT record outside of the Wembley final, Mark Robins …

What a ending that was!! I love winning a game in stoppage time and what a strike from James Bailey to win it! Think we deserved the win overall, sat back after we scored and they punished us but thankfully we got the 3 points, especially as teams around us games were postponed due to the snow, least we were able to get the game on. With City up to 7th now and all the other teams around them having a few games in hand I’m just hoping we can rely on …

Well the second half was nerve racking!  Don’t get me wrong it’s a brilliant win against top of the table who disappointed me a bit but the second half was very frightening to watch especially the two goal mouth scrambles they had. After a disappointing loss away to Carlisle I wasn’t really confident about pulling off a result but fair play to the players they were very good.
On a very cold and icy night in Coventry, Mark Robins made one change with Cyrus Christie coming in for Jordan Clarke. It …

GET THE F**K IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a win that was! Too score two goals in injury time or more commonly known as Fergie time is fantastic. I wasn’t expecting it at all but I’m just over the moon we did it. One step closer to Wembley! Haven’t celebrated so much in my life at a home game! My mate Jake is a legend, he said before the game that Leon Clarke would get a 90th minute winner and he did! Bet he’s gutted he didn’t put a bet on!
On to the …

Well all I can say is, what complete domination we got today from Spurs! I wasn’t expecting such a strong team put out and I have to say it but Gareth Bale was outstanding. But I’m proud to be a skyblue fan after that performance, first half we were poor and gave them like Mark Robins said too much respect on the ball but the second half we were much better! Fantastic support from the Coventry fans, 5021 away fans is another big support by the skyblues, even if it …

I bloody hate the Ricoh, cursed ground I swear! Been so poor at home this season and it’s going to cost us having a chance of the play offs if we don’t sort it out. After Saturday’s brilliant away win at MK Dons I was hoping we could continue the good run but it wasn’t to be, we had so many chances but I knew nothing would go our way today. It’s a shame as with over 15000 people attending and watching the game the result will put them off …
