Manchester City have agreed to sign striker Stevan Jovetic from Italian Side Fiorentina for a deal reported to be worth up to £28million.
The hugely talented 23 year old has constantly been linked with the larger European clubs, including Manchester United and Arsenal, but finally looks set to make the move after five successful seasons with La Viola. According to the Guardian.co.uk Bayern Munich and Germany striker Mario Gomez has signed a £17m deal with Italian club Fiorentina. Fiorentina president Andrea Delle Valle confirmed the deal with Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rumenigge and he said “It was Mario Gomez’s wish to leave Bayern in the direction of Florence. We’ve now granted his wish.”
