These are the upcoming playoffs in the different divisions, first up the Championship:
Wigan vs. QPR – May 9th 7.45 pm, DW Stadium (first leg), May 12th 7.45 pm, Loftus Road (second leg)
QPR finished one place higher than Wigan in fourth, but seven points better off. Both teams struggled for consistency and goals a bit, and there were few highlights in the 0-0 DW draw during the normal season. Thank god this season is almost over, a season of nearly successes for the skyblues, just another rubbish season for us fans, all the troubles and changes certainly haven’t helped, hopefully we can sort everything out over the summer and go for promotion next year.
In a game where nothing mattered to Coventry, everything mattered to the away side Leyton Orient who still dreamt of a slim chance of getting into the play offs, despite the win today it wasn’t enough due to Swindon Town winning.
