You don’t need to dive too far back into the history books to see the last time Tottenham deployed common sense on the pitch to great effect. In the good old Harry days the players knew what they were doing and the system was so effective, they actually achieved some modern form of success. There was width, pace, creativity, strength, character, and most of all cohesion.
There are a lot of complaints at Tottenham, largely justified about the board, director of football malarkey, constant managerial changes and so on. I’ve got …

The first international break of 2015 comes at the end of March, but the England manager, Roy Hodgson, must currently be contemplating on which strikers to call up to the squad, if all are fit. The 2014/15 Premier League season has been a success so far for English strikers who are trying to appeal to Hodgson, which was highlighted last weekend (3rd and 4th of January). I believe that Roy Hodgson sees Wayne Rooney, Daniel Sturridge and Danny Welbeck as his key three strikers, who he will consistently pick, subject …

The final round of festive fixtures saw a selection of exciting results, with Tottenham’s victory over Chelsea the best of them all. The late kick off featured high flying Chelsea on their trip to North London in a highly anticipated London Derby.
Chelsea started strong, with their top scorer Diego Costa turning in Oscar’s low cross. Shortly after there were appeals for a penalty from Mourinho and co, as Vertonghen controlled the ball with his hand when going to ground in the box. Despite pressure on the Tottenham goal, Chelsea were …

Bad decision after bad decision after bad decision, if this was me, I’d have been sacked a long, long time ago, but this isn’t me thankfully, this is Daniel Levy, so why oh why is he still taking £2million + in wages every year?
I’m not going to turn this into a Harry Redknapp love in but sometimes it will seem that way, firstly, If you, the reader, do something and it works, you do it again right? Whether it be taking a short cut to get to work quicker, finding an …

There is a common misconception from the outside that Tottenham fans expect too much, complain all the time and don’t deserve what they have. But from the inside, it is quite the opposite.
Treated to FIFA like corruption, constantly lied to on just about every big media circus, subjected to bizarre decisions, poor communication and ultimately the most inconsistent nonsense in the one place it matters, the pitch.
The only consistency that has taken place in my most memorable years as a Spurs fan, has been the chairman.
Levy is a broken record, …

Its been a great window for Tottenham! hasn’t it? you can still hear some of the disgruntled fans screaming, sign a striker!!! But to the masses this has been a great window, deadwood has been sold and for a profit.
Deadwood:
Total spending: £7,500,000
Total income: £12,000,000
(Figures above is the amount made from Livermore and Falque).
Key positions:
Fans have been extremely happy with the signing of players needed in key positions. But most of all the competition for places especially in the defence which was one of our weakest positions is a great …

The Tigers are set to start their fourth campaign in the Premier League, following the most successful season in the club’s history. Last campaign Steve Bruce guided the East Yorkshire club to safety with relative ease against the odds, despite a dip in form towards the end of the season; Bruce also led the club to their first ever FA Cup final in which they were narrowly beaten by a rather unimpressive Arsenal side, but has given the club their first opportunity of European football after being entered into the …

Tottenham have sold Iago Falque to Genoa, is there a case for promoting from the academy? Instead of wasting money and wages on foreign talent.
I would say yes. Tottenham have proved with Caulker, Kane and Carroll that we can produce very good players. In comparison to young talent which was brought into the club, examples of players who were young and bought in and didn’t show much, Taarbat(QPR), Dos Santos (Villarreal) and Kevin Prince Boateng(Schalke); Some could say they didn’t get the chances or that the manager didn’t show faith …

Eric Dier is one step closer to becoming Tottenham Hotspur’s newest defender. Pictures have emerged of the Sporting defender at Lisbon Portela Airport. Various reports have said the defender will sign from Sporting for £4 million on a 5 year deal. The left back would slot right in to the starting Spurs defence.

Have you watched the new Tottenham?
I’ve been really impressed with the way Tottenham are doing things this season, we needed a left back to compete with Danny Rose so we sign Ben Davies.Tottenham actually strengthening in a position we have been desperate for quality in since Christian Ziege/Taricco.The good thing about Davies is he can actually defend. But the best thing Levy and the club are doing is signing key players to longer deals Lloris signed a five year deal then today Jan Vertonghen …
