Global sportswear company adidas are one of the leading companies when it comes to football shirts as they supply shirts for the world’s best teams including Chelsea, Germany, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. Every season the adidas designers have the task of producing new team kits for their sponsored teams and I about to take a look at the kit designs for the new upcoming season of club football with you.
adidas have several kit deals with Premier League clubs including Chelsea, Fulham, Hull City, Southampton, Stoke City, Sunderland, West Bromwich Albion and recently signed West Ham United.
Shown above are the Swansea City home, Southampton home and Stoke City away kits and they all feature the exact same design. The two most noticeable features is the thick band sleeves and the v-neck two tone collar design in which they all boast. Expect to see your local side in a similar design too, this is the adidas Tiro 13 teamwear design.
Shown above are the West Bromwich Albion, Stoke City and Hull City home shirts and they all feature the same striped design with only minor differences on the collar and sleeves. All five clubs shown above feature the same v-neck collar design.
Shown above are the Hull City and Sunderland away shirts which are identical apart from the colours used. adidas seem to produce three or four kit design templates every season and all the shirts this season boast the Climacool technology which provides heat and moisture management through ventilation keeping you cool and dry.
Gone are the days of unique designs! For an in depth look at the 2013/14 Nike shirt collections click here.
