Alright! I’m Scott and I’m 16 from the three lions nation of England and football is my life! I’m going to get something out of the way before I begin…..Yes I am an Arsenal FC fan (Leave your jokes in the comments)
I just want to voice some opinions I’ve got because no one else wants to listen to them! so basically I’ll just talk about the Premier League and any interesting talking points throughout the season, starting with my lads at Arsenal FC!
So in case you don’t know the month of January is also known as the mid season transfer window and as an Arsenal fan i’m not very optimistic about any potential mid season transfers. We’ve let the deadwood go which was to be expected e.g. Lukas Podolski, a good lad I’m sure but not quite cutting the mustard in the attacking region.
As football interests me I do a lot of football related blog reading and article research. What I can conclude from all of this extensive research is that the Gooners should be in the market for a new central midfielder. I can almost certainly rubbish those comments ladies and gentlemen (doubt any girls will be reading this) we certainly do NOT need a midfielder…. Flamini, Cazorla, Coquelin, Arteta, Wilshere, Ramsey, Alexis Sanchez (can play in the middle) and Chambers (has played in the centre before). All of these players could force there way into most midfields in the league. One bone I have to pick with Wenger if he’s reading this (Obviously not) is why does Tomas Rosicky not even gets a look in anymore!! Have they had some sort of lovers tiff!? From watching him play in the FA cup and Capital one cup this season I can still see some brilliance from the Czech wizard!
The position I do think Arsenal need to bolster is the central defence, Arsenal have Mertesacker, Koscielny and Chambers to play CB whereas Chelsea the best team in the league at the moment have Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic, Zouma and Ake (and that’s just the centre backs!). Arsenal need at least a couple more centre backs if they are to compete with the big dogs like the good old days of The Invincibles!
There you go, my first post to this blog, I want to try out this sort of writing and reporting as its a hope and dream of mine to do this professionally one day!
