European nation Denmark have revealed their new official away shirt that they will wear at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The team were drawn into a tricky looking group with Portugal and rivals Sweden guaranteed to provide tough opposition. However, early slip ups from these two teams allowed the Danes to establish themselves at the top of the group. They never looked back and a victory against Sweden earned them a place in South Africa as group winners. Manager Morten Olsen will be pleased with the group stage draw that saw them pitted against Holland, Japan and Cameroon.
The new Denmark 2010 World Cup away shirt is predominately white with a single red thin pinstripe running from the edge of each side of the collar to the shoulders. Manufacturers Adidas place their red logo centrally below the red round neck collar whilst the three traditional red stripes run down the shoulders. A small fragment of these stripes are present on the edges of the sleeves. The national badge is also situated in the top left of the shirt.
