Juventus have secured the long-term future of USMNT midfielder Weston McKennie, who has signed a new contract running until June 2030.
The official announcement from the club confirms the extension after months of speculation over his future.
Salary Boost and Contract Details
McKennie’s previous deal was due to expire at the end of the 2025-26 season.
The new four-year agreement sees his net salary rise significantly from around €2.5m per year to approximately €4m, plus performance bonuses, making him one of the higher earners at the Allianz Stadium.
Key Role in Juventus’ Campaign
The 27-year-old American, who joined from Schalke in 2020, has been a versatile and consistent performer this season under recent managerial changes.
Deployed in midfield, left-back, and even advanced roles like false nine, McKennie has contributed 8 goals and 7 assists in a challenging campaign for the Bianconeri.
His adaptability and work rate have earned him trust from coaches and fans alike, turning around earlier doubts that once saw him loaned to Leeds United.
Juventus are also looking to give Kenan Yildiz a new contract to show they are keen on securing the talent that have in Turin.
Commitment and Club Loyalty
McKennie has repeatedly expressed his desire to stay in Turin, rejecting potential moves elsewhere.
Juventus view him as a core squad member, rewarding his loyalty and on-pitch impact with this commitment.
If he sees out the full term, he will mark a decade with the club since his initial arrival.
This renewal provides stability for Juventus as they push in Serie A and European competitions, while securing a key asset for the USMNT ahead of future international tournaments.
