West Ham are close to agreeing a deal for Tottenham goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky before the end of the transfer window.
With the January window reaching its climax, West Ham are still trying to strengthen.
The Irons sit 18th in the Premier League table, five points from safety.
Nuno Esprito Santo’s side are clearly in need of reinforcements, and recently agreed a deal to sign Fulham winger Adama Traore.
They are also pursuing Chelsea defender Axel Disasi, as they try to sure up the most leaky defence in the league.
As for outgoings, West Ham rejected a bid for Lucas Paqueta this week, and are refusing to lose money on the Brazilian’s sale.
West Ham Closing In On Tottenham Keeper Antonin Kinsky
According to reports, West Ham have been in negotiations with Tottenham over the signing of Antonin Kinsky.
The Czech keeper, 22, has now agreed personal terms with the Irons ahead of a move.
Kinsky is very keen on the switch, with limited playing time at Spurs a key factor.
Former Slavia Prague man Kinsky will likely join on an initial loan, with West Ham holding the option to make any deal permanent in the summer.
However, Tottenham will only sanction any transfer provided they can secure a suitable replacement.
Among those linked to Spurs is West Ham’s Mads Hermansen, meaning a swap deal could be on the cards.
How Much Do West Ham New A New Goalkeeper?
Earlier in the season, West Ham’s goalkeeping options looked thin.
But the resurgence of shot-stopper Alphonse Areola has meant they are no longer desperate for a new number one.
Kinsky would therefore be an excellent back-up option. And at 22, he could develop into a top-class keeper and ready-made replacement for Areola.

Thirty-two-year-old French international Areola has frequently been linked with a move away, and is not getting any younger.
It would therefore make sense to bring in a young, hungry backup that can push the incumbent keeper all the way.
So far this season, Areola has played 20 times in total for West Ham.
He has conceded 37 goals, and failed to keep a single clean sheet.
But while those stats do look ominous from the outside, blame for most of those goals lies with the Irons’ woeful defending.
As for Kinsky, he has made a total of just 12 appearances in two seasons at Tottenham.
Of those, just six have been in the PRemier League, with four in the EFL Cup and two in the FA Cup.
