Barcelona will have a severely depleted attack in their penultimate UEFA Champions League league-phase clash with Slavia Prague on Wednesday night.
The Blaugrana are currently in 15th place in the UCL table with 10 points to their name. They are two points away from a top-eight place and only three clear of the elimination zone.
In their previous game, Barcelona lost to Real Sociedad in LaLiga, setting an unfortunate shooting record. They will be eager to return to winning ways in the Czech Republic, but will not be able to rely on their favoured attacking trident.
Barcelona could also be without Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who is set to join Girona in the coming days. Ter Stegen’s Girona debut seems imminent, and he could stay back to complete the transfer formalities.
Barcelona Will Miss Two Top Attackers Against Slavia Prague
Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal picked up a yellow card in the hard-fought 2-1 victory over Frankfurt in the Champions League. It was his third caution in the league stage, and he will now have to sit out the Matchday 7 clash with Slavia Prague.
Barcelona were expecting to be without Yamal on Wednesday, but now their top scorer, Ferran Torres, has also been ruled out.
According to Spanish outlet Diario AS, Torres will not travel with the team to the Czech Republic. He finished the game against Real Sociedad with hamstring discomfort and has yet to return to full training.

The injury is believed to be minor. However, Barcelona are hesitant to risk worsening the injury by rushing him back into action.
They are hoping to have him back for the LaLiga clash with Real Oviedo on Sunday. However, his involvement will depend on how he responds to treatment in the coming days.
Torres suffered a similar hamstring injury in October, spending several weeks on the sidelines. It was initially seen as a regular overload, but turned out to be more serious.
Hansi Flick to Opt for an Unfamiliar Barca Attack
Torres has been the leading scorer for Barcelona this season. He has played 27 games for the club in all competitions, scoring 15 goals and providing an assist.
With him ruled out, Robert Lewandowski will lead the attack. Roony Bardghji is likely to replace Yamal on the right, with Raphinha manning the left flank.
Things could have been more complicated for Barca had Raphinha not recovered from his knock.
Dani Olmo and Marcus Rashford are likely to start on the bench, but could get minutes in the second half.
