Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has provided some positive injury news after confirming both Cole Palmer and Wesley Fofana are fit for this weekend.
Saturdays Premier League fixture against Everton kicks off at 15:00 at Stamford Bridge.
And Blues fans will be delighted to learn that two of their stars are now set to be available.
Palmer missed Tuesday’s Champions League defeat to Atalanta, while Fofana suffered an eye injury during the game.
But both have been deemed fit to play on Saturday, and are in contention to start.
Cole Palmer’s absence was particularly glaring in midweek, with Enzo Fernandez pushed forward into an unfamiliar number 10 role.
The Argentine struggled to impact the game, and Chelsea were beaten 2-1 in Italy.
Enzo Maresca confirmed Cole Palmer and Wesley Fofana are both available for Saturday’s Premier League home match against Everton despite the latter’s eye injury scare.
Palmer was left out of Chelsea’s squad in their Champions League defeat to Atalanta on Tuesday.
Enzo Maresca Provides Positive Chelsea Injury News
Discussing Cole Palmer, Maresca admitted the England International is not yet 100% fit, but will be available against Everton.
“He is okay, he is better, he is available at the moment with one more session available,” the Italian said.
“He finished the session with us with a mixed feeling, but he is okay.”

And on Fofana, he added: “Wes is fine. He completed the session yesterday. He’s fine.”
The French defender was taken off after injuring his eye against Atalanta, despite coming on as a substitute himself at half-time
Initial fears were that the injury was quite severe, meaning his fitness this weekend is a big boost.
Both Palmer and Fofana will be desperate to be involved, and remain injury free on Saturday.

Maresca said: “We don’t know yet. It can be two, three, four weeks.
“We don’t know exactly.
In Delap’s absence, Joao Pedro is the obvious choice to lead the line for Chelsea.
The Brazilian striker has been excellent since joining from Brighton in June for around £60 million.
Pedro so far has scored four goals and registered three assists in his 15 Premier League outings for the Blues.
But the return of Cole Palmer, who netted 15 times last season and 22 the year before, will be a welcome sight for Chelsea.
