YouTuber Mark Goldbridge has been confirmed as one of the Bundesliga’s new UK broadcast partners, with his channel That’s Football showing live matches this season.
The Bundesliga has shaken up football broadcasting by awarding part of its live UK rights to content creators — including YouTuber Mark Goldbridge, one of the most polarising yet influential figures in fan-driven football media.
Goldbridge’s channel That’s Football will stream 20 live Friday night Bundesliga fixtures during the 2025/26 campaign.
The games will be available in watch-along format, making this the first time a major European league has granted live rights to a creator-led platform.
Bundesliga UK Coverage
The deal places That’s Football alongside heavyweight broadcasters such as Sky Sports, BBC, and Amazon.
Sky will continue to show Saturday evening fixtures, including Der Klassiker between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, while Amazon has secured exclusive rights to Sunday matches.
Meanwhile, The Overlap — fronted by Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher and Roy Keane — will also share rights with Goldbridge, marking another step away from traditional broadcasting models.
All Bundesliga Friday night fixtures will remain free-to-air, with matches simultaneously streamed on the league’s own YouTube channel.
Who is Mark Goldbridge?
Mark Goldbridge, real name Brent Di Cesare, rose to fame as host of The United Stand, a Manchester United fan channel boasting over two million subscribers.
He has since expanded into wider football coverage with That’s Football, which has amassed nearly 1.4 million subscribers and millions of views on weekly uploads.
While often criticised — former United defender Paul Parker once accused him of “causing problems” at Old Trafford — Goldbridge has proven impossible to ignore.
His watch-along rants, viral moments, and willingness to challenge managers and owners have earned him a loyal following and high-profile media recognition.
The Bundesliga deal is the latest marker of his influence. Just last year, Companies House filings revealed his media businesses held more than £4 million in assets, underlining how big fan-driven platforms are becoming in the midst of traditional football coverage.
A New Era of Fan-First Football Broadcasting
This partnership perhaps reflects the changing habits of football fans. Younger audiences are increasingly consuming content via YouTube and fan media instead of traditional TV.
For the Bundesliga, tapping into Goldbridge’s global audience — from Manchester United supporters to casual fans — represents a chance to expand its reach in the UK.
Goldbridge’s involvement also mirrors broader shifts across European football. La Liga recently awarded highlights rights to Gary Lineker’s The Rest is Football podcast, but the Bundesliga’s decision to go a step further with live broadcasting marks a true landmark moment.
Bayern Munich host RB Leipzig in the season opener on Friday 22 August, and now fans will be able to tune in not just through established broadcasters, but via Mark Goldbridge’s That’s Football.
