Premier League 2021/22: Arsenal expected to finish in the top four

It all looks the 2021/22 Premier League season would go down the wire, with Liverpool and Manchester City battling for the top spot. The Neds betting site has City as the favourites to win the title, with Chelsea the best bet to finish third.

However, the fourth position is far from sealed, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur vying for a place in the Champions League.

Here are the predictions on what would the top four look like at the end of the season.

4. Arsenal

The fourth spot looks to be up for grabs, but Arsenal have the edge ahead of Tottenham and Manchester United. They sit at the fourth position with 54 points, three points ahead of Spurs and also have a game left in hand.

In addition, their form is also impressive as they have ten out of their last 13 games in the Premier League.

They will be playing some decisive fixtures in the coming months, and the trickiest of those will be against Chelsea and Man Utd.

The tie against the London rivals would be a tough one to predict, whereas they could see off the struggling Red Devils.

Speaking about Tottenham’s chances, the North Londoners have impressed under Antonio Conte, and they are likely to hang on to the battle until the end.

However, their results have been fluctuating, as was the case in the shocking win over Man City and the defeats against Burnley and Man Utd.

They will also be facing Liverpool in May at Anfield, and it would indeed be a tough night for Conte’s men.

On the other hand, United’s chances of a potential redemption look bleak, with tough fixtures like Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea around the corner.

3. Chelsea

The only thing that looks certain is Chelsea finishing third in the table. They are trailing Liverpool by 10 points and five points above fourth-placed Arsenal. The Blues looked as if they would mount a title challenge, but they slipped up their momentum in late December and January.

2. Liverpool

Liverpool have given Man City a run for their money, showing that the title race is far from over. The Reds’ incredible late run has helped them catch up with Citizens in the title charge, with only a point separating them.

While the turnaround has seen many fans dream about leapfrogging Man City to the top, the Merseysiders await their biggest tests in the coming weeks.

Their crucial league fixture against Man City has been sandwiched between the Champions League games against Benfica.

Furthermore, they will face Pep Guardiola’s men in the FA Cup semi-finals in April not long before the league outing against Man Utd, meaning they can’t afford to catch a break.

The Reds have a great chance to lose their momentum between these tough fixtures.

1. Manchester City

Liverpool’s immense pressure saw City struggle in the draw against Crystal Palace. However, they responded with an emphatic victory over Southampton in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

The home fixture against Liverpool, which follows after the UCL game against Atletico Madrid, is touted as a title decider.

But the biggest advantage for the Sky Blues is facing relatively easy opponents for the remainder of the season as opposed to the Reds, who have massive fixtures against Man Utd and Tottenham.
