ARSENAL: THEY PLAY FANTASTIC FOOTBALL, BUT THEY CAN’T WIN THE LEAGUE! WHY?
Arsenal have had a few bumps on their title bid, which seems to be fading, despite some fantastic games against Chelsea and Blackburn.
First of all, the ups. Robin van Persie is yet another Gunners legend who looks like he will never stop scoring. Theo Walcott is the one making these goals. Alex Oxlade Chamberlain is a future star of Arsenal. His performances against Manchester United and Blackburn were stunning, especially for a youngster such as him.
Despite all of this, Arsenal WON’T win the league, and here’s why:
First of all, their London rivals are just too good. Tottenham seem unstoppable in third, whilst Chelsea’s fully fit squad could mean a final bid for the title.
Secondly, they are under pressure from teams like Liverpool and Newcastle. The Magpies have a brilliant team, which will only get better when Cabaye and Tiote return to the starting XI.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are on brilliant form. Don’t be put off by their position in the Premier League, because its not everyday you beat both the Manchester teams in the same week!
Lastly, Arsenal are a one man team. Where would they be without Robin van Persie?
