Liverpool have entered negotiations with Tottenham over the sale of left-back Andy Robertson before the end of the January window.
The Scottish international is entering the final months of his contract, and is exploring his options.
With limited game time this season, Robertson has been linked with a move away from Anfield.
A multiple Premier League winner, the 31-year-old also helped Liverpool win the Champions League in 2019.
He has made 363 appearances for the Reds since joining from Hull City in 2017.
But having been reduced to a bit-part role under Arne Slot this season, his time on Merseyside may be coming to an end.
And it looks like Tottenham could be the beneficiaries.
Spurs’ injury problems have left them in dire need of reinforcements this season, and they have now made a move for Robertson.
Is Andy Robertson Heading To Tottenham?
With less than six months remaining on his current deal, Robertson is keen to resolve his future plans.
The Scotland captain has been a tremendous servant to Liverpool for almost a decade.
Andy Robertson compared to Premier League left-backs since joining Liverpool for £8m at the start of the 2017/18 season:

Talks between the club and player have been positive, but Robertson’s desire for regular football has coloured discussions.
With Liverpool unable to guarantee minutes for the fullback, he has been forced to consider an exit.
Liverpool’s own injury problems have handed Robertson minutes, but he is clearly second-choice now.
Should Robertson depart earlier than expected, it may force Arne Slot to recall Kostas Tsimikas.
The Greek defender is currently on loan in Italy with AS Roma, and has made 16 appearances this season.
But he would be a ready-made replacement to fill in if Robertson is heading to Tottenham.
Andy Robertson Discusses Liverpool Exit Amid Spurs Talks
On a possible exit, Robertson told the media recently that he is keeping his options open.
He said: “Would I like to stay? Yes, but it’s a difficult question to ask.
“I’ve got five months left and we need to see the option to stay or if there’s options to go and things like that.
“I’ll sit down with my family and decide. After a stressful summer, I’m just trying to enjoy being a part of it, and being a Liverpool player.
“I wanted to qualify for the World Cup and, thankfully, we’ve managed to do that. I need to see what myself and my family wants moving forward.”
Meanwhile, Arne Slot spoke very highly of Robertson, admitting he understands how difficult it is for a player who isn’t playing every week.
“I have to give him a big compliment about the things he said,” Slot said.
“Very mature and I could understand everything he was saying.
“I think every player should have the same feeling about his current position, and that is that he’s not starting every game.
“But I’m really happy that he also says that he finds joy in the position he’s in and that he also understands how important he’s been to this club for all these years and he definitely still also is in the position he’s in now.”
