Manchester United have been dealt a massive injury blow as winger Patrick Dorgu has been ruled out for ten weeks.
The Danish international gave United the lead in Sunday’s 3-2 win against Arsenal at the Emirates.
Dorgu’s incredible long-range strike put his side ahead before Mikel Merino’s late equaliser.
But another stunner, this time from Matheus Cunha, won it for United at the death.
Interim boss Michael Carrick continued his winning start at Old Trafford, having also beaten rivals Manchester City 2-0 in last week’s derby.

But victory at league leaders Arsenal came at a hefty price.
Dorgu went down after stumbling while chasing a loose ball in the second half.
Having immediately felt his hamstring, he was withdrawn and replaced by Benjamin Sesko.
Initially, the club had hoped the issue was just cramp, but now United’s worst fears have been realised.
Scans have now revealed Dorgu has torn his hamstring, and will miss up to ten weeks on the sidelines.
That would rule the 21-year-old out until April, with a potential return against Leeds at Old Trafford.
Patrick Dorgu Injury Comes At The Worst Time For Man United
It’s a huge blow for United and Michael Carrick. Dorgu was beginning to put in some excellent performances, and finally looked to be settling in.
Although Dorgu had impressed for Denmark for a while, he was only now starting to show it for United as well.
Fans had recently dubber the youngster “Ballon d’Orgu” – suggesting his recent displays were worthy of the world Player of the Year award.
So to lose him as he was hitting such a rich vein of form will be a massive loss.

Dorgu joined United last January in a £25 million move from Italian side Lecce.
After a slow start, he has now become a key member of United’s squad.
In 22 Premier League games this season, Dorgu has three goals and three assists, while mostly playing as a wing-back.
But having now been ruled out for several months, how he recovers will be crucial.
How Has Michael Carrick Turned Manchester United Around?
In just two Premier League games, the atmosphere around Old Trafford has shifted immeasurably.
Few would have expected results against one of Arsenal or City, so to beat both in back-to-back games is quite remarkable.
Carrick may not be given the job full-time, but his early displays have certainly given United’s hierarchy food for thought.

It’s been a long time since much positivity has emanated from the club.
So to pick up two huge wins and climb into the top four will have done Carrick’s credentials no harm.
It remains to be seen if he will become United’s long-term managerial solution.
But his short-term impact has been undeniable.
