A few things to clear up.. Liverpool should take Chelsea’s Torres Cash and more..

I thought I would share my thoughts with you about a few things.

1) Please, Liverpool, sell Fernando Torres for £50 million. He clearly doesn’t want to play for the club anymore and they need players who can lift them back to the better days by putting in the passion and grit.  Fernando will be no loss if this season is anything to go by, and if he doesn’t want to play for Liverpool, then his performances are unlikely to improve.  Which was the only game this season that he played well in? Chelsea. Where might he be going? [….]

2) Please, Liverpool, just accept the cash and don’t bring back Anelka.

3) Why do many pundits not use the word ‘dive,’ and replace it with ‘simulation’?  Why do pundits insist on stating that, if ‘there’s contact,’ a foul should be given.  Nicolas Bendtner dived for his penalty (or pelnaty as Chris Waddle kept pronouncing it on ESPN, along with Arzel and Hudrsfd) today.  He fell over after the slightest of nudges and apparently, that’s acceptable and should be rewarded.  This happens several times in every game and free kicks and ‘pelnaties’ are given for nothing all of the time.  Please, someone who has influence, realise that this is diving and that such ‘fouls’ are not fouls at all.

4) There are too many red cards. I’m not saying Phil Dowd (who referee’s every game?!) got it wrong, but the rules are wrong.  A sending off should be reserved for really nasty challenges, not slight tugs of the shirt that might prevent a goal.  For goodness sake.

5) Recent players who have been booked and sent off (Piquionne, for example) for celebrating with their own fans should be chained to a goalpost and slapped for being idiots.  But for goodness sake, change this ridiculous rule that basically prevents passionate players from celebrating with their likewise fans after the scoring of a crucial goal.

Bitterness is a football fan’s best friend.

That is all!
