Aussie left back Mark Milligan has revealed his forthcoming ambition is to play in the Premier League, after trials with Arsenal and Man City.
“The wheels are in motion – I’ve just got to sit tight and wait, my agent will do the talking, and for now my focus is on the Olympics”
“”My two main trials were with Man City and Arsenal, but in between I stayed at Adrian Leijer’s house and trained with Fulham a few times, so it was a good month, and those conversations there are ongoing. People know what to expect from me. They’ve seen me play, they’ve seen me trial. I’ve always said I’m keen to try playing in England, or maybe Spain.”
Arsenal may be keen to grap a back up defender for Gael Clichy for a cheap price to give a bit more defensive depth but at this stage it is just a trial and no one knows whether Milligan did enough to impress Arsene Wenger during his trial.
