LaLiga stars account for half of Europe’s best-selling football shirts in 2025, showcasing the worldwide reach of the Spanish top flight.
The Premier League, often hailed as the world’s most popular football division, has just one representative in the top 10.
LaLiga Stars Dominate List of Europe’s Best-Selling Football Shirts
According to Score 90 (via MARCA), five of the 10 best-selling football shirts in 2025 belong to LaLiga stars. The two biggest clubs in the division, Real Madrid and Barcelona, have shared the honours, with Atletico Madrid missing out.
The two most popular players of the 21st century, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, have also made the cut despite not playing in Europe.
Top Selling Jerseys in 2025
In 10th place, we have Real Madrid star Rodrygo. The Brazilian winger, who has struggled to secure minutes under Xabi Alonso this season, has sold 798,000 jerseys in 2025.
His compatriot, Vinicius Junior, is the next LaLiga player on the list. The Real Madrid No. 7 has sold 992,000 shirts in 2025 and is now the most popular Brazilian player in Europe.
Kylian Mbappe has enjoyed a stellar 2025. Mbappe is closing in on Ronaldo’s record, has won his lawsuit against Paris Saint-Germain, and has the most jersey sales among all players at Real Madrid.

The French captain has sold 1.02 million shirts in 2025, the majority of which have come after his shift to Luka Modric’s No. 10.
Surprisingly, Robert Lewandowski has beaten all three Real Madrid stars in shirt sales in 2025. The Barcelona striker has sold 1.11 million jerseys in 2025 – the third-most in all of Europe.
Finally, we have 18-year-old Lamine Yamal, who has left some of the most sought-after players in the dust. The Barcelona star has sold 1.32 million jerseys in 2025, narrowly beating his godfather Lionel Messi for the top spot.
Messi sold 1.28 million jerseys in 2025. His arch-rival Cristiano Ronaldo, meanwhile, could not enter the 1 million club. The Al-Nassr star sold 925,000 shirts.
Frenandes Sold the Most Jerseys in Premier League
Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes is the only Premier League player to crack the list of best-selling jerseys in 2025. The Portuguese playmaker sold 878,000 shirts to claim the eighth spot.
