Danny Wilson Heading For Exit Door

Rangers and Liverpool have agreed a £2m fee for Danny Wilson, with the fee expected to rise to £5m based on appearances.

The classy 18-year-old broke into the Rangers side last season and made his debut against Dundee in the League Cup, closely followed by a Champions League debut just a few weeks later. Wilson became a regular feature in the side while Madjid Bougherra was injured and the young defender made another appearance in the Champions League against Stuttgart and also made his Old Firm debut in January. He scored his first Rangers goal at Tynecastle in the 4-1 victory in March.

Wilson follows Boyd, Thomson, Beasley, Novo and Smith out the exit door this summer.
