Destination: Zurich

On Sunday 8th June morning, the French army travelled by train from their headquarters in the limits of Vevey, on the northern shore of Lake Geneva, to Zurich where their first group-stage game against Romania will be played. The players left their Hotel Mirador Kempinski at around 9:45 am and boarded the tean bus that took them to the train station. During the journey, some players played cards, listened to music, read books, played on their laptop or had a nap. The team arrived in Zurich at 12:17 pm, and before boarding the bus and leaving to their Zurich hotel, had some time to give autographs to the awaiting fans.
