FA cup review for a poor Liverpool and Chelsea side

Liverpool were stunned by Oldham Athletic when a  Mathew Smith double and a  Reece Wabara  goal helped them knockout the once so Mighty and great, Liverpool. They were Hardly in the game in the first half but were a little unfortunate when a Jordan Henderson Free kick was converted into a goal but because of a Brush from Luis Suarez’s hair it was ruled out for off side. While talking about Luis Suarez he scored one of the two goals for Liverpool and a late 80th minute goal by Joe Allen was just there just to reduce the Deficit. It was a historic win for Oldham but a very forgettable night for Liverpool.According to Rodgers,he wanted to give the young players some experience and only Skrtel, the goal keeper Brad Jones and Luis Suarez were aged over 23 which clearly emphasizes what Rodgers was trying to do. He said that he was Disappointed with his young players and that he only wanted to give them the chance to see and feel what it feels like to play for Liverpool.

Meanwhile Chelsea were held at boundary Park against Brentford, it was a strong performance by Brentford and Chelsea fell for there swift attacking play, but taking that into notice the playing conditions were not the best like they are in modern day English football.A  goal from Marcelo Trotta goal saw them lead 1-0 but a Oscar special saw Chelsea equalise and then a controversial penalty converted by harry Forrester  saw them lead again but it took a touch of class by Fernando Torres to score a late equaliser which kept Chelsea’s hopes of retaining the FA cup alive.
