 
Liverpool reportedly accept Juventus bid for Xabi Alonso
£14.2m Alonso Bid Accepted
Liverpool have reportedly accepted a £14.2m bid from Juventus for midfielder Xabi Alonso. Liverpool were trying to keep hold of their Spanish midfielder but the ever hopeful Juventus fans petition to sign Alonso might have spurred the Juve management to make a last minute move to bring Alonso to Juve. Juve made it clear to the Reds that this would be their last move to target Alonso and the Reds happily accepted eventhough they wanted £16m at first.
Gareth Barry Option Opened Alonso Door
Liverpool are currently looking seriously to buying Gareth Barry and this move has definitely led to the departure of Xabi Alonso. This is not yet official but close sources to the player’s agent are surfacing reports that the player could be in Pinzolo on Tuesday for the official presentation.
Fans Happy Alike
More than 1500 fans had signed a petition online to signal their desire to sign this Spanish midfielder and finally their dream has come true as Xabi is more than close to becoming a Juventus player.
