Harry Kane is set to return to north London with Bayern Munich in Wednesday’s top of the table Champions League clash away to Arsenal – an opponent he is more than familiar with.
In fact, if the England captain scores on Wednesday, he will become the player who has scored the most goals against the Gunners in all competitions since 1992.
Europe’s two most in-form sides lock horns in an intriguing clash, and if there is anyone who knows how to unlock Arsenal’s world-beating defence, it is Kane.
It is worth noting that Kane accounts for nearly 40% of Bayern Munich’s 56 goals this term, which is a startling feat considering they have netted the most goals in Europe’s top five leagues.
Harry Kane’s Record Against Arsenal
Kane has an exceptional record against the local rivals of his former club Tottenham.
15 goals in 21 appearances leaves him level with former England teammate Wayne Rooney as the player Arsenal have conceded the most to since the formation of the Premier League.
It is, however, worth noting that Kane achieved that feat in 14 fewer games than Rooney.

Harry Kane’s Record Against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal Also Bodes Well
Many may pin this exceptional record on the succession of underperforming Arsenal teams that Kane faced during his spell at Spurs. But the England captain has a respectable record against the Gunners since their resurgence under Mikel Arteta.
In the four games he has played against them since the 2022/23 season – the first of their three successive Premier League runner-up finishes – Kane has scored twice. That also includes him scoring in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final matchup in the 2023/24 season, which Bayern went on to win 3-2 on aggregate.
