As Inter continue their search for a partner for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, it seems the club could be lining up Athletico Madrid’s Sergio Aguero as next summer’s big money signing.
A plethora of Europe’s top clubs are bound to be interested in the Argentine, but Diego Maradona has urged Aguero to take the oppertunity to play in Italy. Maradona is currently the manager of the Argentine national team, and already has a lot of interest in Inter Milan, with players such as Javier Zanetti, Esteban Cambiasso, Walter Samuel and Julio Cruz representing Argentina in recent years.
Aguero could be the ideal partner for Ibrahimovic, and, at the age of 20, has a very bright future ahead of him. The only potential stubling block is the price. As an 18-year-old, Aguero signed for Athletico for a fee beleived to be around 20 million euros, so the club could be looking to make 100% profit at least.
