Juventus take on Manchester United tonight at 21.00 at Old Trafford as Juventus take on the European Champions. Arsenal fielded a second-string team bringing out some first-team regulars and Juvents failed to make this pay just winning 1-0 and then lost shamefully 3-0 to Hamburg. Their positive turn in the Trofeo Tim must not be forgotten though and I do think that the Emirates Cup was a one-off. Should United field their strongest first eleven players, Juventus should have no problem in playing the Red Devils and eventhough they would be judged as second favourites, I do reckon Juve have the quality to beat United.
Some injury troubles to Rooney will mean that the highly over-rated striker will not be included in the United XI while Juve are trying to field out their best. Sissoko-Poulsen will be tried out today while the best front line attack in Europe returns with David and Alex back up front. Nedved and Camoranesi on the wings will be just the push forward Juve need to break the United defence into parts and try and put the ball past the former Juventino Van der Sar.
