With January’s transfer window fast approaching, we take a closer look at three players who could be on the move into — or out of — LaLiga next month.
Antonio Rüdiger from Real Madrid to Galatasaray
Commanding centre-back Antonio Rüdiger could be on his way to Turkey if reports from the European media are to be believed.
The German international boasts an enviable honours list, having won the Champions League, Europa League and Club World Cup during an illustrious career.
Rüdiger has featured in just five of Real Madrid’s 17 LaLiga matches so far this season, along with only one of their six Champions League phase fixtures.
Competition has intensified at the Santiago Bernabéu following the arrivals of Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth for just under £55 million and left-back Álvaro Carreras for £43.8 million — the latter also capable of operating on the left side of defence.
Rüdiger joined Real Madrid in August 2022 after leaving Chelsea on a free transfer, but with his role diminished, a departure from Spain before the end of January cannot be ruled out.
Kenan Yıldız from Juventus to Real Madrid
Few wonderkids are attracting as much attention as Juventus winger Kenan Yıldız.
Already a full Turkey international at just 20 years old, Yıldız has made 26 appearances for his country, scoring five goals, while establishing himself as a key figure at club level.
With a reported market value north of £65 million, only a handful of clubs could realistically afford Yıldız, once FFP and PSR considerations are factored in.
Real Madrid would have little trouble meeting those demands, and the Turkish forward has enjoyed a standout 2025/26 campaign with Juventus.
Yıldız has registered nine attacking contributions in 14 league matches (five goals, four assists), along with four more in other competitions (one goal, three assists), performances which have reportedly caught the attention of club president Florentino Pérez.
His rapid rise has also prompted interest from the Premier League, with Arsenal wanting Yildiz too. Whether the winger ends up in Spain or England before the window closes remains to be seen.
Himad Abdelli from Angers to Sevilla
Despite scoring just twice in 13 Ligue 1 appearances this season, Angers midfielder Himad Abdelli is reportedly attracting interest from Sevilla.
The Algerian international was far more prolific last term, scoring six goals in 32 matches to help Angers secure their top-flight status.
Abdelli has been a key figure for the French side over the past two-and-a-half seasons, making 86 appearances across all competitions.
Sevilla currently sit ninth in LaLiga with 20 points (W6, D2, L8), just four points behind sixth-placed Real Betis.
While Los Rojiblancos have already scored 24 league goals, additional attacking output is always welcome. With Abdelli valued at just over £6 million, an offer north of £10 million could be enough to persuade Angers to part with one of their most valuable assets.
