Why Manchester United Need Eden Hazard

There has been many rumors going around lately about the young star gracing French football, Eden Hazard has been the subject of transfer gossip with already Spurs and Manchester United already declaring their interest in the young Belgium and of course Robert Mancini has also declared his own interest in the player. However out of the three Premier League clubs Manchester United need him the most and this is why.

Spurs already have a play-maker in Modric who can unlock defences with a cunning pass and he’s performances this season has shown why Chelsea tried so hard to purchase the Croatian International. Manchester City also have Silva and Nasri who can play that role of a play-maker and Silva has been one of City’s best players this season. So I don’t think it’s the creativity department these two teams are lacking in at the moment. However I wouldn’t be shocked if Manchester City out buy there rivals for Hazard’s services.

Paul Scholes has come out of retirement and has done wonders, Manchester United’s record since he’s return has been nine wins out of ten in the Premier League. However it won’t be too long when he does eventually hang his boots up again and this time it will be for good.

Tom Cleverly has shown great potential and probably will be a star at Old Trafford if he can put he’s injuries behind him, but he does at the moment lack that creativity and cunningness Scholes has. Anderson as well is another player who has shown fantastic potential but injuries has hampered he’s season yet again and he is more of a engine player in the middle of the park rather then somebody who will slide open the defense with a magical pass. Ryan Giggs is another player who can’t really play every week but when he does play everybody can see the influence he has on the team but he also falls in the same category as Scholes and more then likely only has next season left in him but how many times have people said that about Giggs and yet still continues. Also Michael Carrick who I think has been one of the unsung heroes this season for Manchester United,  is more of a player who sits deep and picks out the passes and does not play with the same tempo Hazard plays or even how a young Paul Scholes use to play.

Eden Hazard has the same attributes that Paul Scholes possesses.  He is perhaps more skillful, has fantastic passing, awareness, can score all types of goals and he can pick that killer ball something most United fans feel the midfield lack when Scholes is not playing. With Lille looking like they will not be winning the league and face a fight to stay in third place to qualify for the Champions League, if Manchester United do come in for him during the summer he will probably find it hard to resist.
