Mapping out the roster

What does the depth chart look like? I take a stab at it

Jose Romero from then Seattle Times has a good, quick overview about the players on the roster right now: http://blog.seattletimes.nwsource.com/sounders/2009/02/15/a_roster_overview.html

Now, it is quite early, but from what we have seen in preaseason so far, this is how my depth chart would look like

GK: Keller, Eylander, Dragavon

D:  Wahl, Marshall, Graham, Sturgis (also M) , Riley, Ianni, Scott, Brown, Karkas, Schmid

M: Ljungberg (when healthy), Evans, Alonso, Nyassi, Le Toux (also F), Zakuani, King, Vagenas (when healthy), Sturgis (also D), Neagle (also F), Caugherty, Fucito (when healthy)

F: Montero (duh), Jaqua (also duh), Le Toux (also M), Zakuani (also M), Smith, Clark, Neagle (also M), Clark, Oliveira

Looks like good depth to me, and we should be more than capable of playing our first few games without Ljungberg. I’m especially pleased with the defense. There’s experience, speed, physical guys, and lots of them are pretty versatile. In short, very good for an expansion team. What do you guys think?
