Mass exodus at neighbours favours United

Have you heard the latest news? Thai Thaksin Shinawatra, Manchester City owner, has gone crazy. He is furious at how the team played in the second part of the season and is determined to start from scratch! The owner decided to put the entire squad, yes, ALL PLAYERS, listed for transfer.

He doesn’t care about how much the players have contributed to the team in the past years, but wants to bring in a new coach (probably Luis Felipe Scolari) and build a new team with new players, to challenge for a place in Europe next year. Supporters of City may be protesting, but soon, the supporters of Man Utd may be celebrating.

When it seemed impossible that Man City would be willing to do business with United in transferring Micah Richards to the club, our friend Thaksin decided to put him on the transfer list. This means that United can, not only negotiate with City, but also acquire strong full-back Richards for a knock-down price. Richards wants to leave City for another club where his future would be more stable, and where the owners love the club and understand football.

The Glazers fit these requirements. They have always backed Ferguson in the transfer market and never interfered in the football sector of Manchester United. Richards would be a major acquisition for Manchester United this season, strengthening the right-back position and providing a long-term English successor to Gary Neville.
