All football enthusiasts should have heard of the name Milos Krasic, the highly-rated 19 year old who plays for Russian side CSKA Moscow. The Serbian winger has been linked with moves to some of the best clubs in the world. The clubs mostly linked with Krasic are both of the Manchester clubs, Arsenal and Chelsea. Which team would be the best to join?
Krasic will probably fit in at Arsenal more than any other team because of the quality of Arsenal’s squad. The main player in his position is Emmanuel Eboue who can play full-back as well. This means Krasic would be able to fit into that position without a long wait for an injury. Arsenal do have more cash than some of their rivals to sign the Serbian so £9 million shouldn’t be a problem.
Current table toppers Chelsea apparently want Krasic, but would he get the amount of games he wants? The Blues already have a lot of players in his position with Florent Malouda and Yuri Zhirkov the main men, could Krasic break into the 1st team? Obviously Chelsea could afford him but really would he be a waste of cash? Would he be gone in two seasons time? Probably yes to both of those questions, that’s why Stamford Bridge seems like the stadium that Milos Krasic won’t be playing in next season.
When CSKA Moscow nearly beat Man United this season one CSKA player will of caught Sir Alex Ferguson’s eye, Milos Krasic. Scoring in that game didn’t surprise anyone, the Serbian player who dreams of making it big and had the perfect chance to surprise Fergie at Old Trafford. At the moment United have some quality players in his position, Antonio Valencia is the main man who can get forward and score while young Gabriel Obertan is waiting for his chance to shine. One option for Krasic if he goes to United is to switch and become a Left winger. Odd as it may sound, that may give him a chance of starting more games while challenging for the title. At Arsenal he may play every game but would he be challenging for the title?
As usual no big rumour could not involve Manchester City, the richest club in the world have also been linked with the CSKA Moscow play maker. There are a few players who play in his position at City but he is probably better than them and would start most of the time. City are a team on the up and Krasic may want to be a part of it. He would definitely improve City’s dismal home form.
The other clubs interested will be overseas teams who would sign him to make up the numbers. The only real other option is to stay at CSKA, but would he really want to risk not playing in the Champions League? Watch out for this man if he comes to the Premiership because he will tear apart Premier League defences, he did it to United!
