What is missing at Arsenal?

After the selling of Robin van Persie this summer and Fabregas about a year ago Arsenal have started to struggle in the English Premier League. Due to some of their star players being sold or players having disagreements with manager Arsene Wenger, the long reigning general manager has had to resort to some inexperienced, young players playing in key games for them. As a result Arsenal find themselves in 7th place in the Barclay’s Premier League despite doing well to try and qualify for the Champion’s League knockout stage.

This summer Wenger has tried to replace RVP and Fabregas by buying Lucas Podolski and Santi Cazorla who although have being threatening on the pitch have not made such a difference when the Gunners needed it, but however have tried to control the game in the same way that Robin Van Persie and Fabregas used to when they played together.

Arsene Wenger has tried to re-assure his fans that the Gunners will continue to improve especially after the next transfer season when he is going to try to buy new players which are supposedly going to “change”  the way his team will play. However, the manager’s words are not making it any easier for Arsenal fans who are getting very anxious to win some trophies.
