Ranieri Taunts Mourinho as Battle Starts

Both managers had full control over Chelsea yet they now both are at helm of Juventus and Inter, two of the biggest clubs in Italy. With Mourinho’s funny talk in press releases and some talk which may be even stupid and just out of anger, Ranieri has already started his battle off pitch. Jose Mourinho had already pre-defended himself before the Trofeo Tim kicked off saying that it would be normal for Juventus to beat Inter having in mind they started training a month before. The Trofeo Tim passed by and Juventus indeed beat Inter 1-0. Inter lost to Milan on penalties to finish last in the tournament.

As Claudio Ranieri is in London to play Arsenal and Hamburg in the Emirates Cup, in a sarcastic manner, Ranieri, referring to the failed arrival of Frank Lampard from Chelsea to Inter, Ranieri said:

“Had I asked Abramovich to negotiate for Lampard, he would have accepted and he would have given me the midfielder, but he certainly does not want to give up the midfielder for Jose.”
