It is with great sadness that we learn that Richard Butcher has tragically passed away aged just 29.
Butcher’s career with Posh was a relatively short one but he still managed to impress in his brief time at London Road and many were disappointed that he was sold so soon into his spell at Peterborough United.
I’m sure that I echo the feelings of everyone at Peterborough United when I say that our thoughts go out to Richard’s family and friends after hearing this awful news.
