Stankovic & Xabi Out of the Picture?

While many Juventus fans have pledged their support to sign Xabi Alonso and protest against the rumoured signing of Inter midfielder Dejan Stankovic, now it seems that the fans have both good news and bad news. 

 Liverpool Playing Hard To Get – Juve Lose Patience

Liverpool are set to demand €20m for the Spanish Midfielder and Juve are deemed to have offered a maximum of €18m for the midfielder.  Liverpool do not want to sell Xabi Alonso before they are sure that they will have another midfielder instead of him and until they do purchase their own midfielder, they will only sell Xabi for the right price. However Claudio Ranieri believes that there are more talented midfielders which could suit the Bianconeri team and he is not ready to fork out such a large part of his budget on the midfielder. Sevilla’s Poulsen is also hitting the news increasingly and we might see Poulsen joining Juventus much more probably than Xabi or Stankovic.

 Stankovic Agent Denies Rumours

 Meanwhile Stankovic’s agent has denied rumours that any offers have been received from Juventus and has said that the player is staying at Inter until further dealings.
