 It has today emerged that Stoke will not be making a bid for Ipswich Town striker/winger Jonathan Walters.
 Despite strong rumours all summerthat the 24 year old Irish ”B” and Under 21 international was on his way to the Potteries, it seems that he will remain at the Suffolk club for the immediate future.
 The news comes after Ipswich manager Jim Magilton urged Stoke to either drop their interest or make a bid for Walters on wednesday. The latter has now happened.
